Often one party’s superannuation makes up a large part of the matrimonial property pool.
Since 2002 super splitting has been possible to achieve a fair property settlement.  There is a process which must be followed to request that the superannuation fund split the superannuation.It will be necessary to complete a Form 6 and send it to the relevant superannuation fund.
