In South Australia it is necessary to have a license to sell alcohol. A Producer’s Licence allows growers to provide wine sampling and cellar door wine sales as well as being able to sell and deliver wine to the public through direct sales transactions. Liquor licensing has tended to be fairly strictly controlled in South Australia and there are certain requirements that need to be met to get a Producer’s Licence.
