Joanne obtained her Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) in 2005 from Flinders University and was admitted to practice in South Australia in August 2005. Initially Joanne was employed by a large national law firm working in the area of Compulsory Third Party Insurance/Motor Vehicle claims specialising in fraud, infant claims and major claims. She also practised in the areas of Family Law, Employment, Commercial and Wills.

Prior to commencing practice as a lawyer, Joanne worked for several large legal firms both in Adelaide and the United Kingdom.

At Moore Law Joanne works predominantly in the areas of Family Law and Domestic Partnership Law.
